davide disanto is an amazing italian producer born in bari, after multiple releases on excellent labels such as let s play house, politics of dancing or even theory of swing, he delivers us a fabulous 12 inch which borrows as much from the heyday of the purest new-york city 90s deep house as well as the purest techno made in detroit. the 1st track from this ep seems to have come straight from an imaginary collaboration between boo williams & ron trent, the violence of the rhythm is counterbalanced by some airy & ultra deep pads, the aptly named atmosfear. a banger as we rarely hear today. c mon, let me see on a2 sounds like a modern take on the awesome jerzzey boy. on the b side, da love feeling (main mix) & le (4am underground dub) revisits the 90s once again for our greatest pleasure, particularly the latter seems to have come straight out of a lost mix of the great danny tenaglia. and to end this ep in style, davide allows himself the luxury of summoning the spirit of mbg and all the best italian deep house from the early 90s on the superb lungomare (ambient reprise). essential item !

revelation ep is the debut release of australian record label denude, showcasing the latest work of melbourne based artist eddie hale. the title track revelation is both driving and warm - layered percussion lines rise and fall amongst detroit inspired stabs and subtly textured elements creating an infectious and uplifting groove. a2’s surging is both tunnelling and driving - straight into late night / early hours territory - with swirling sounds forming a hypnotizing sonic bath for the body and mind. rounding up the a side with a change of pace, aperture’s syncopated percussion leads us on a peaceful detour through ethereal synthscapes as we follow the round journey of an evolving sound that travels full circle. on the flip, joel mull’s hypno mix of revelations propels the listener with mechanical precision through dizzyingly expansive atmospheres of truly mind melting proportions. closing out the ep is terrace of an elephant, tranquil and reflective synth-work juxtaposed with coloured stabs striking through like comets across the night sky - brings us back down to earth in a contemplative mood.

nycs legendary sam records dropped the mysteriously named k.i.d.s dont stop- in 1981. it has it all trancey arpeggios, vocoders & vocals trading off with each other, brass & some heavyweight disco drums that helped propel it forth into the hallowed category of club classic. the record perfectly suited the open minds and open ears of discerning disc jocks in locales such as new york and chicago where this sublime piece of electronic disco sleaze would get plenty burn on the city s infamous wbmx thus having a huge impact, along with a whole host of other similar records, on the burgeoning house scene that was germinating in the fertile mid western soil. b-side cut do it again is a pleasant enough early 80 s disco jam, but compared to the futuristic burner that is dont stop on the other side theres one clear winner. a must have for all cosmic, disco, funk aficionados. now made available again, legitimately licensed, remastered and reissued in conjunction with sam records new york city.

it s 6:66am when chinaski elbows his way on to the floor. leather jacket. metal studs. bare arms. tattoos. with his hand freshly stamped this newcomer brazenly strides into the bordello. his style? try to pin it down. beats parry and pound with the intensity of an ebm hammer. yet, strolling through those meaty kick drums stride shimmering melodies that sport elements of new beat, italo and techno. the rakish grooves of -surfin dead- occupies the a-side. bold rhythms fly in the face of burbling bass and cascading chords as chinaski takes control. a body pumping work out follows. -unschuld der sinne- throws beat shaped fists from the needle drop as a brawl breaks out. born in the smoke machines of belgium, this bruiser balances its rough edged rhythms with beaming bars. there s to be no relenting as the closer screams like a nitro-fuelled missle. -ab in die ewigkeit- soars is a muscle-bound sky rocket set to keep any floor rumbling to the break of dawn.

it is extremely difficult to detect an ‘extrasolar moon’ and this analog dub techno cut has been proved to be as close to the free-floating planet as possible. its bassline-driven raw jacking acid techno is perfectly aligned with grad_u’s signature heavily echoed dub, and the only thing that protects one from escaping the orbit is flipping to side b. there one’ll find yet another 10+ minutes of goosebumps, this time erected by ‘geomagnetic storm’, a pure and emotionally vigorous dubbed out bomb. the 12” from redscale is an ultimate equity between the outer space of a dancefloor and the inner self of the mind. last but by no means least is the fact it has been mastered at the legendary dubplates & mastering in berlin
